SCHEDULE OF PRE-APPRENTICESHIP CONSTRUCTION TRAINING PROGRAMS August 2007-January 2008 at Waipahu Community School for Adults August 2007-January 2008 at Farrington Community School for Adults January 2008-May 2008 at Waipahu Community School for Adults PRE-APPRENTICESHIP CONSTRUCTION TRAINING SCHOLARSHIPS NOW AVAILABLE The Hawaii Building Industry Foundation was awarded a $150,000 grant from the Office of Hawaiian Affairs, to prepare Native Hawaiians to enter the construction industry through their pre-apprenticeship construction training career program. Full scholarships are currently available for Native Hawaiians and Hawaiian clients interested in pursing a career in the construction industry through the Construction Training Center of the Pacific, (CTC). The CTC is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) established by the Hawaii Building Industry Foundation to provide educational opportunities to the adults and unskilled for potential apprenticeship opportunities within the construction industry Click Here for Kapili Pu Application  Pre-Apprenticeship Training Grant Available for Ewa Community The Building Industry Foundation has received a $50,000 grant from the HASEKO Training Fund administered by the Hawaii Community Foundation to support its workforce development efforts.  This grant will offer adults 18 and older in the Ewa community an opportunity to participate in a pre-apprenticeship construction training project named ComPACT: "Building Skills to Build Lives".
